Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. For me, this journey began long before I started planning a route across the country. It started at home, watching my daughter, Mary Kate, navigate the daily challenges of type 1 diabetes with incredible strength. This ride is my way of turning that family experience into a nationwide fundraising effort. Not just as a cyclist, but as a father who believes that with enough collective determination, we can find a cure.

In mid-July, I’ll set out from La Push, WA, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean just west of Seattle, and I’ll ride home to Richmond, VA.
